The meeting program begins with the opening session at 17:00 on Sunday, June 29th, followed by a welcome reception at the
BALEENkitchen and outdoor patio at the Portofino Hotel & Marina. Meeting will continue all day on Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1 with a half day of meetings on Wednesday, July 2. There is a final night dinner planned for Tuesday night, July 1st at the R10 Social House (additional registration will be required), with most participants checking out on Wednesday, July 2nd as the meeting will end before lunchtime. There are planned lunches for Monday and Tuesday but not on Wednesday. Overseas participants who may wish to visit other areas of interest (Las Vegas, Yosemite, San Diego, Grand Canyon, San Francisco, etc), following the meeting should make arrangements soon as the Fourth of July Holiday is a busy time for tourist destinations in the US. Most of the rooms are blocked for the 3 peak nights of Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights, June 29-July 2.
KSHV Room Rates: $199.00 plus tax, for single or double occupancy
All meetings will be held at the Portofino Hotel & Marina. The $199 group rate is available for a limited number of rooms and only for registered participants of KSHV 2025. Rates do not include taxes or breakfast, they do include free high speed internet access in guest rooms and public areas, access to the 24/7 fitness center with Peloton bikes & seasonal complimentary/discounted fitness classes, one hour bicycle rental from activity center, business center and weekly live entertainment by local artists. Attendees will still benefit from these amenities including the free WiFi, outdoor pool and hot tub, complimentary fitness center, one hour bicycle rental, etc. although the Resort Fee of $38 per night plus tax, has been waived from all group bookings.
Rates listed are for single or double occupancy. A charge of $30.00 will be added for each additional person sharing a guest room. Children under 18 may stay free in their parent’s room using existing bedding as long as the number of occupants in the room does not exceed four (4).

The Hotel offers parking. Twenty-four hour parking with a valet option for overnight Hotel guests with in and out privileges is $40.00 per day, self-parking at $20.00. Day/ event parking is $20.00 per day with option for Valet or Self Parking. Parking rates do not include valet gratuity or tax and are subject to change.
The main room block is for arrival on Sunday, June 30 and departure on Wednesday, July 2 for three (3) nights. A small number of rooms have also been block for Saturday and Wednesday nights, rooms needed outside the group room block will be on a space and rate available basis. Online booking form coming soon.
